Why "Right to Work" Won't Create Jobs

Corporate Backed "Right to Work"

"Right to Work" is Wrong for Indiana Workers

Keep the Right To Work Letters Flowing

The law maybe on the books, but the fight is not over.   In order to keep the benefits we have fought for over the years.   I encourage every member to write letters to your local newspapers.   We need to keep this in voters minds until elections in November.

Check the voting records against labor or you and your families of the representatives of Indiana.   These are people that have no idea what an honest days work is.   They have listened to one special interest group the Chambers of Commerce and made a decision that you make to much money.   The purpose of the Right To Work law that was introduced and signed into law was to break Unions Period.

Indiana has a Union membership that consists of 7% of workers in the state.   Was there a reason to rush this law into effect?   If this is truly going to bring jobs to the state then what happens after the rest of the states create this law.   Keep an eye on Minnesota they are following Indiana’s path.   There has been numerous states watching for the results of the law in Indiana.   This is nothing more than a Republican agenda to help the stinking rich get richer.

The news has been reporting on the jobs that are coming back to the United States for a few months now.  When talking with a few of the representatives that pushed this law into effect.   It was brought to their attention that the jobs are being brought back and if they were going to take credit.   One such representative got a smile on his face and responded “wouldn’t you”.   Next time you see Dave Wolkins ask him about it.

These politicians have correspondence with the big business and the Chambers of Commerce.   They have known longer than the media that the jobs were coming back.  The businesses had to find out that without jobs there were no buyers for their products.   The auto industry is taking off again which will put jobs back in Indiana.

This was not an issue in the 2010 elections.  Why then did it start immediately upon their taking office?   Why would the republican party endorse a housewife over an incumbent?   If you have heard of Rebecca Kubacki that is exactly what happened to a long time incumbent.   Bill Ruppel had been an ex-teacher and union member.   And did vote on occasion with the working class or on labor friendly issues.   With the agenda to strip teachers of their bargaining rights, privatizing schools and the stripping of all unions security clauses.   They weren’t sure they could count on Bill to follow them.

So if your not mad yet.   Try reading some of the reports done by some of the Universities such as Notre Dame, Indiana, Ball State or Oregon to name a few.   They all have one opinion of the Right To Work laws.  They are not going to be good for Indiana.   After reading these feel free to write, call or email your representatives and let them know your displeasure with their choice for you and all of Indiana.
